- סוּטְרָא, סוֹ׳m. (Saf. of נטר, cmp. סַנְטָר) (that which is reserved, cmp. נְטוֹרָא) reward, wages. Targ. Y. Ex. 22:30 בסוֹטְרֵיה as his reward (for not barking at the Israelites, v. Ex. R. s. 3 1). Targ. Y. Lev. 19:13. Targ. Y. Deut. 24:14, sq. Targ. Job 14:6. Ib. 7:2 סִטְ׳.
